This is going to be fun!

Buying or selling a home can be a stressful experience, but it can also be lots of fun. It’s fun to scope out new neighborhoods and try on different styles of houses. It’s exciting to think about where to plant a garden, what color to paint the walls in the master bedroom and what kind of rug would really tie the room together. It’s gratifying to see your sweat equity, care and love turn into profit. While you’re envisioning your future, you can trust me to do everything in my power to make the whole home buying or selling process go smoothly. I’ve been through it all myself– the anxiety, the uncertainty, the tough decisions and ultimately the satisfaction, that comes with finding a new home.  I’ll guide you, answer all your questions and help you make decisions that you feel great about. What could be more fun than that?

There’s just something about Portland, Oregon.

I don’t know if it’s the great neighborhoods, the endless places to explore or the infinite shades of green, but I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I’ve seen the fields I picked berries in as a kid turn into beautiful communities and I’ve witnessed the Rose City really come into its own. Whether soccer fan, foodie, urban farmer, or weekend warrior, people here are passionate about where they live. I have a lifetime of love for this place and I would like nothing more than to share it with you.

I aspire to be your all-in-one real estate resource. I’m part consultant, part local know-it-all, and part tireless advocate. If I don’t have the answers you’re looking for, I know someone who does. My job’s not done until you are completely happy with the whole crazy experience.

Did you know that the town was settled in such a rush that tree stumps were left in the middle of the streets earning Portland the nickname “Stumptown”?

Or that almost 20,000 Portlanders ride their bikes to work? Or that Portland has more dog parks per capita than anywhere in the US? Or that Portland has a walkability score of 66.3 (#12 in the nation)? My brain is overflowing all kinds of info both practical and trivial. Take a look at some of these resources and other stuff I think is too cool not to share:

  • “Pam was a great partner to help my family find the perfect house. She listened to all the feedback we had on every house and kept narrowing the search until we found the perfect one.

She worked hard to get us exactly what we wanted. Pam's knowledge of the area really helped us make a decision. She grew up here, and knows it like the back of her hand. I would give her name and number to anyone looking to buy a house in the greater Portland area.”

  • “Pam was very patient with us. When we first decided to buy a house we did not have clear vision of what style or design of a house we wanted.

Even though we did not speak very good english, she listened to us very carefully and patiently and helped us figure out what we wanted. The best thing about her is she never puts pressure on you to buy any house. She would tell us if she thought it was a good deal or not but never made us feel compelled to anything. At the end, she was like a sister that we can trust and rely on. We would definitely be asking her to be our realtor again in the future! Thank you Pam!!”

  • “This was my first time to buy a house in my life. Especially our situation is a kind of special because we are from Japan. Different culture has different opinion and rules so, we were so nervous.

I was introduced Pam by my colleague with good reputation. I didn't even know what the realtor is and what they can do for us. But when we met her we realized how important she is and how comfortably to ask question to her. She taught and gave us exactly what we wanted to know without any hesitation and worked for us even late night. Also, she made us relax for buying a house with nice and good humor (at least for us). After care is also good and she is still helping us if we have a question. I will recommend her to my friend as great realtor and ask her help if we are moving to another place.”

  • “The home buying process was quite intimidating and Pam really helped us out with all aspects. She gave us recommendations and contacts for lenders and gave her honest opinion.

She came over to our house in the evening to go over paperwork and never rushed us in the process. She listened to us when we lowered our price range and never pressured us into any decision. She worked early mornings and late evenings to close on the house, she was our advocate the entire time. Even after the house was purchased and everything was said and done, she checked in on us from time to time. Pam is the best!”

  • “We chose Pam to manage our real estate transaction because she took the time to meet with us and understand our goals and objectives.

She was able to help up us develop a clear vision of what was reasonable and possible to focus on. We were able to identify and close on a property within 45 days of our first meeting.”

  • “Our family found that life necessitated a house change to accommodate my aging mother. While we were happily grounded in our existing home, we needed more room that would allow the independence of two families merging under one roof. It was no accident that we happened upon an Open House held by Pam Flora.

From the moment we met Pam, we immediately trusted her and had confidence that she understood our unique needs. She never acted as a "salesperson", but as a consultant and advocate. Pam helped us to find the perfect home and seamlessly maneuvered the process of that purchase. Because of how great she was, we asked her to be the listing agent for the sale of our existing home. She brought in an interior designer at her expense to help stage our home for a quick sale. She was so effective that the formal Meadows Group sign was never actually installed into our yard, because we had a viable offer within 8 hours of the listing. Pam made the challenge of buying and selling a home simultaneously pleasant and painless. The trust we felt with Pam allowed us to focus on the reason for our move, and that was to care for my mother. ”

  • “Pam was simply amazing! We had several specific things that had to happen to make the selling of our home and buying our new home work. She engineered both sides of the deal with precision and skill.

The most important aspect was her constant anticipation and clear communication through the entire process. She negotiated well with the seller on the home we purchased and priced us just right to get a great offer on the home we sold. We thank you so much Pam. You are truly skilled at your craft. I recommend Pam to anyone who is buying and/or selling a home.”
